Send us a question, a trick, or a correction

This is the contact page for Mathematical Magic. Whether a calculation in one of our explainers didn’t add up, you’ve found a card or number trick worth covering, or you simply want to know why a method works, this is the place to write. We’re a small desk, and we read what comes in.

What to write about

A few things we’re always glad to receive:

  • Corrections — a step that’s off, a result that doesn’t reproduce, or a typo in the maths.
  • “How does it work?” questions about a trick or principle we’ve covered.
  • Topic ideas — a card trick, number puzzle, or game you’d like explained.
  • Classroom and teaching notes from educators using our material with students.
  • Feedback on the free handbook, including the English and Marathi versions.

If you’re writing about something other than the math — partnerships, reuse of a routine, or general queries — say so up front and we’ll point you the right way.

How we read your messages

Every message is read by a person, not a filter. We prioritise corrections and anything that affects accuracy, since a trick that fails in front of an audience is the one problem we most want to fix. We reply when we can, but we can’t promise a response to every note, and sending an idea or routine doesn’t mean it will be published. Accuracy notes, though, always get a careful look.

Where we’re based

The desk works out of Pune, Maharashtra. We don’t keep a public office or a phone line — email is how we handle everything, and it’s the surest way to reach the people who actually write the explainers.
